The Club Ángeles de Puebla was a football club from the city of Puebla in Mexico , whose club name refers to the full name of the city that it had once received from the Spanish crown: Puebla de los Ángeles (People of Angels).

The club was only founded in 1984 with the acquisition of the first division license of CF Oaxtepec from the Mexican state of Morelos , which had been created only five years earlier . But the Angeles de Puebla never succeeded in breaking out of the overwhelming shadow of established local rivals Puebla FC . While Puebla always reached the play-offs in these years, Angeles was always eliminated in the preliminary round. After four years of membership in the first division, the club sold its eligibility to play for the coming season (1988/89) to the then newcomer Santos Laguna , who has since been an integral part of the Primera División .

Ángeles himself disappeared as quickly as it had once appeared. For the second division seasons 1999/00 and 2000/01, the club was reactivated again, only to come to an abrupt end again.
