Mario Daubenfeld

Mario Daubenfeld (born January 16, 1958 in Wasserbillig ) is a Luxembourg general (OF-6) and politician ( ADR ).

Life

Mario Daubenfeld was born in 1958 in Wasserbillig, in the municipality of Mertert , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The general is married and has one daughter.

Military career

After various other tasks, Daubenfeld took over from Gaston Reinig on February 1, 2013 as Commander of the Luxembourg Armed Forces . Just two years later, in 2014 he was replaced by Romain Mancinelli .

Since 2016 he has been an active member of the liberal-value conservative Alternative Democratic Reform Party and chairman of the "Zentrum" district there.
