Mario Eylert

Mario Eylert (born February 5, 1953 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer and former presiding judge at the Federal Labor Court .

Live and act

After studying law and doing an academic job at the Free University of Berlin, Eylert joined the labor courts of the State of Berlin as a judge in April 1984 . In 1989 he was awarded the degree of doctorate. In 1993, he was appointed presiding judge at the then dissolved state labor court of Brandenburg . In May 2001 he was appointed judge at the Federal Labor Court , where he was initially a member of the Second Senate and, from September 2010, the Tenth Senate. There he also held the position of deputy chairman. Since 2004 he has been assigned the task of maintaining contacts between the BAG and international legal associations as a judicial consultant. On June 1, 2012, Eylert was appointed presiding judge at the Federal Labor Court and took over the chairmanship of the Fourth Senate. Eylert retired with effect from September 30, 2018.
