Mario Gollwitzer

Mario Gollwitzer (* 1973 ) is a German psychologist .

Life

From 1993 to 2000 he studied psychology at the University of Trier , where he was a research assistant in the department of social psychology from 2000 to 2005 . After receiving his doctorate in 2004 as Dr. rer. nat. In Faculty I in Trier, he taught from 2005 to 2010 as a junior professor for methodology and evaluation in the psychology faculty of the University of Koblenz-Landau and was head of the Center for Methods, Diagnostics and Evaluation (Method Center). From 2010 to 2018 he taught as a professor of methodology in the Department of Psychology at the Philipps University of Marburg . Since 2018 he has been Professor of Social Psychology at the Department of Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

His research interests are social and individual functions of revenge , punishment and retaliation , sensitivity to injustice and immoral behavior, science communication and (motivated) science reception and change measurement in the context of the evaluation of psychological measures.
