Mario Hoppe (born September 14, 1982 ) is a former German handball player . His body length is 1.93 m.

Hoppe played for both the 1st and 2nd team of TV Bittenfeld . In 2006 he was promoted to the 2nd Handball Bundesliga South with the club . In the 2006/07 season Hoppe was used in the 1st team in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Hoppe held the positions of a right back space player and circuit .

In 2006 Hoppe was awarded the sports merit plaque of the city of Waiblingen for special services to sport .

Hoppe is the editor of the game booklet of the club, which is now playing in the Bundesliga under the name TVB 1898 Stuttgart .
