Mario Is Missing! is a video game developed by The Software Toolworks in 1993 and released for MS-DOS , the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). In 1994 the game was ported to the Macintosh . In the game , the player controls Luigi , who has to travel around the world to find and save his brother Mario .
