Mario Liebers (born January 1, 1960 in Dresden ) is a former German figure skater .
Mario Liebers started for SC Dynamo Berlin and thus for the GDR. His trainer was Brigitte Zeller . He was the first German to have a triple Axel in training .
Mario Liebers is married. His wife is called Kerstin and was a sprinter at SC Dynamo Berlin. The couple has two sons, Martin Liebers and Peter Liebers . Both sons are figure skaters.
Mario Liebers is a dentist in Berlin-Mitte. He is also a figure skating judge.
