Mario Ohlberger
Mario Ohlberger is a German mathematician and professor of applied mathematics .
Life
After completing his military service (1990–1991), he studied mathematics from 1991 to 1997 at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . From 1997 to 2002 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Applied Mathematics at the University of Freiburg. After completing his doctorate (1997–2001) in mathematics at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, he was a visiting scientist at the CSCAMM of the University of Maryland in 2003 . From 2002 to 2007 he was a research assistant in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau . Since 2007 he has been teaching as a professor (W3) for applied mathematics at the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics at the University of Münster .
