Mario Paint ( Japanese マ リ オ ペ イ ン ト , Mariopeinto ) is a computer game from the Nintendo companyfor the SNES published by it. The computer game is best known for using the SNES mouse .

The game principle

With a painting program you can paint pictures with the help of the SNES mouse. The user has various tools, including spray and drawing tools.

Furthermore, the one can compose on the paint program and music, but without signs to prevail.

Mario Paint was created by Shigeru Miyamoto in 1992.

Super Mario Maker

The game Super Mario Maker for the Wii U was originally intended to be a successor to Mario Paint . Nintendo's Takashi Tezuka said that this was the idea that was later dropped and a level editor instead. Several references to Mario Paint have been retained in the game.
