Marion Schole

Marion Schole (born December 15, 1952 in Munich ) is a German politician (The Greens). From 1986 to 1994 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Schole grew up in Gräbenzell in the Fürstenfeldbruck district, where she attended elementary school. Afterwards she went to the Edith-Stein-Gymnasium of the Dominican Sisters in Munich. In 1969 she moved to Hanover, where she graduated from high school in Großburgwedel in 1972. She studied chemistry, biochemistry and biology at the University of Hanover, the Medical University and the Veterinary University. Since 1980 she was politically active in the Greens. Schole was promoted to Dr. rer nat. PhD and worked in the chemical industry until 1985. On June 21, 1986, she entered the state parliament of Lower Saxony in the eleventh electoral term, to which she also belonged in the twelfth to June 20, 1994. From 1987 to 1988 she was chairman of the parliamentary group.
