Marion Steinbrunner (born August 4, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Marion Steinbrunner, who played for FC Forstern until 1986, was a defender of FC Bayern Munich . During her club membership, she and her team reached the final of the DFB Cup twice.
The club cup final, held on May 28th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium as a prelude to the men's final, which she and her team reached after three wins without conceding a goal, was lost to TSV Siegen with 0: 4.
The club cup final, which was held on May 19, 1990 at the same location as a prelude to the men's final, and which she and her team reached again, was also lost to FSV Frankfurt , albeit just 0-1. In both finals she was used for over 90 minutes.
Steinbrunner also played for Bayern in the Bundesliga that was founded in 1990 .
