Marisa Polanec

Marisa Polanec (born February 1, 1957 in Lustenau ; born Marisa Kogler ) is a former Austrian politician and entrepreneur. Polanec was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1999 to 2004 .

Marisa Polanec was born on February 1, 1957 as the daughter of the transport company Alfred Kogler and his wife Ingrid in the Vorarlberg market town of Lustenau . After attending primary and secondary school, she graduated from the Lustenau commercial school and then began an apprenticeship as a forwarding agent . After completing her apprenticeship, she initially ran a business together with her husband before she became managing director of Polanec event marketing GmbH in 1996 . Since 2003, she and her second husband Urs Bühler have been running the HealthBalance animal health center in Oberuzwil , Switzerland. She married Urs Bühler on February 6, 2009, and they have two children from the previous relationship.

Polanec was after the regional elections in Vorarlberg in 1999 as a party free MPs on the list of SPÖ Vorarlberg in constituency Dornbirn in the Vorarlberg state parliament elected. In the 27th legislative period up to the 2004 state elections, she was area spokesperson for the SPÖ Club for Culture and Tourism and a member of the Culture Committee, the Environment Committee and the Economics Committee.
