Marja Vis
Marja Vis ( Maria Margaretha Antje Vis , born January 15, 1977 in Hoorn ) is a Dutch speed skater who specializes in long distances .
The all-rounder Marja Vis made her debut in January 2000 at the World Cup in Calgary . So far she has not won a World Cup, but she came second three times, one of them with the team. In the 2001/02 season she finished sixth in the overall World Cup over the 3000/5000 meters. At the all-around European championships in 2002 and 2003, she finished sixth, at the all-around world championships in 2002, ninth, and in 2003, tenth. She was Dutch champion three times, runner-up six times and third twice.
