Marjapussi (Berry Basket) is a Finnish card game for four people. It is played with 36 cards in the German hand (six to ace in four suits ). The players sitting opposite each form a party.

The game consists of three phases:

  1. Bidding: first, in a clockwise direction, whoever gets the game is bidding. The player with the highest bid (player A) wins.
  2. Push: His partner now pushes four of his hand cards. Player A now pushes four cards back.
  3. Tricks: The third phase is finally played. Here, one card will take turns in the lurch given and Player A plays the first card.

The strategic goal of the game is to register pairs. These consist of the upper and king of one color and score the most points. At the same time, however, the respective colors of the pairs become trumps when they are registered. Points are also awarded for the cards in the tricks and for the last trick.
