Marjorie Mountain
Marjorie Mountain († after 1922) was an Australian tennis player in the 1920s.
successes
She took part in the Australian tennis championships (now the Australian Open ) in 1922 . There she and her compatriot Esna Boyd won the women's doubles held for the first time. They defeated Floris George and Lorna Utz in three sets with 1: 6, 6: 4, 7: 5. In the individual competition she was eliminated in the same year against Mall Molesworth in the first round. In the mixed competition, she reached the semi-finals alongside Rupert Wertheim .
