Esna Boyd (born September 21, 1899 in Melbourne , † April 8, 1966 in Scotland ) was an Australian tennis player .
She was from 1922 to 1928 seven years in a row in the final of the Australian Tennis Championships in women's singles. In 1927 she was able to defeat Sylvia Lance Harper 5: 7, 6: 1 and 6: 2 and win her only championship.
She was successful in doubles in 1922, 1923, 1926 and 1928.
Personal
In October 1928 she got engaged to Angus Robertson in London . The wedding took place in Edinburgh on March 12, 1929 .
