The Festetics Castle (Croatian: Dvorac Festetics or Kaštel Festetics ) is located in the north of Croatia in the town Pribislavec in the city Čakovec .

The castle bears its name thanks to the Feštetić family , whose members owned it from 1791 to 1923. Earlier owners of the castle were, among others, the princes of Zrinski .

In the 16th and 17th centuries, the castle was surrounded by a beautiful park with a garden and a chapel . Later it was rebuilt and renewed several times, for example around 1870 by Count György Festetics in the neo-Gothic style.

The facility in Međimurje County has served as a local elementary school since World War II .
