Mark Douglas Home

Mark Douglas-Home (* 1951 ) is a British journalist and writer.

Life

Before writing detective novels, Mark Douglas-Home worked for various British newspapers. From 1986 to 1990 he was Scotland correspondent for the Independent , later editor for Scotsman and deputy editor for Scotland on Sunday . He then worked as editor of the Sunday Times Scotland and the Herald .

Douglas-Home is married and has two children. He lives in Edinburgh .
