Gronachtal Bridge

The Gronachtalbrücke is a bridge on the Federal Motorway 6 across the Gronachtal near Wollmershausen . It is one of several large bridges in the Schwäbisch Hall district in the course of the Weinsberg – Nuremberg section and lies between the Kirchberg (Jagst) and Crailsheim / Satteldorf junctions . The Jagsttalbrücke is 300 meters away .

The bridge has a total length of 528 m. The height above the valley floor is 60 meters. The construction costs amounted to around 14,600,000 DM.

As part of the new construction of the A 6 between the Weinsberg motorway junction and the Bavarian border, the Gronachtal bridge is to be replaced by a new construction by around 2025.
