Jagsttal Bridge (A 6)

The Jagsttalbrücke is a bridge on the Federal Motorway 6 over the Jagsttal near Wollmershausen . It is one of several large bridges in the Schwäbisch Hall district in the course of the Weinsberg – Nuremberg section and lies between the Kirchberg (Jagst) and Crailsheim / Satteldorf junctions . After less than 300 meters, the Gronachtal bridge follows .

The bridge has a total length of 347 m. The height above the valley floor is 62 meters. The construction costs amounted to around 10,900,000 DM.

In the course of the new construction of the A 6 between the Weinsberg motorway junction and the Bavarian border, the Jagsttalbrücke is to be replaced by a new construction by around 2025.
