Mark Francois
Mark Gino Francois MP (* 14. August 1965 ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party and former lobbyist. He is a MP for Rayleigh and Wickford constituency and a former MP for Rayleigh constituency . He previously served as Secretary of State in the UK Department of Defense , Secretary of State for the Armed Forces, Secretary of State for Communities and Resilience and Secretary of State for Portsmouth in the Department for Communities and Local Government. In 2018 he was appointed by its chairman, Jacob Rees-Mogg , to succeed Michael Tomlinson as deputy chairman and de facto whip of the conservative eurosceptic European Research Group (ERG).
