Mark David Frankel (born June 13, 1962 in London , England , † September 24, 1996 ) was a British film and theater actor .

Life

Mark Frankel was the youngest of two sons of David Frankel, a Royal Air Force pilot , and his wife Grace. He enjoyed classical acting training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art . Frankel acted as a stage actor in some of the plays performed in London.

In 1991 Frankel's film debut took place in the film biography Die Junge Katharina , in which he played Grigori Grigoryevich Orlov . In the same year he stood in front of the camera as Michelangelo in Michelangelo - Genius and Passion .

Between 1993 and 1996 Frankel's British television series were at home. So he could be engaged for the two drama series Sisters (17 episodes) and Fortune Hunter (14).

In 1996 he starred in the TV series Embraced - Clan of Vampires . He then stood in front of the camera one last time in the comedy film Rosanna's Last Will .

From 1991 he was married to the French-born Caroline Besson, a marketing specialist. Their first son Fabien was born in 1994, their second son Max in 1996, a few months after his father's fatal accident.

Mark Frankel had an accident on September 24, 1996 in the west of the British capital on his Harley-Davidson . He was only 34 years old.
