Mark Ryder (born December 7, 1989 in Belfast , Northern Ireland ) is a British actor .

life and career

Born in 1989 in the Northern Irish capital Belfast, Mark Ryder felt drawn to acting at an early age, but never attended drama school. In 2009 he played a leading role in the feature film Five Minutes of Heaven . In 2010 he appeared in a supporting role in the historical adventure Robin Hood, directed by Ridley Scott . He gained international fame through the lead role of the unscrupulous cardinal, prince and Pope's son Cesare Borgia in the multi-part television series Borgia, which was broadcast on ZDF and ORF 2 . Mark Ryder played under the alternative names Mark David and Mark Davison , among others .
