Mark Vigil
Mark Vigil (born October 1954 in Spokane , Washington ) is an American composer.
Vigil studied piano with Corri Celli and Jessie Parker and composition with Janice Giteck at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle until 1981 . In 1996 he received his Masters Degree in Composition from the University of Oregon , where Rober Kyr and Hal Owen were his teachers. Since 2002 he has been a student of Tomas Svoboda . In addition to chamber music and piano works, Vigil composed a mass and other sacred choral works as well as pieces for gamelan orchestras.
