The Markham Plateau is a small, prominent and high-lying plateau in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It extends from Mount Markham over a length of 16 km to the south and forms the watershed between the east and west flowing glaciers in the northern part of the Queen Elizabeth Range .

The United States Geological Survey mapped the plateau using its own tellurometer measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 based on the name of Mount Markham. It is named after Clements Markham (1830–1916), from 1893 to 1905 President of the Royal Geographical Society and Eminence Gray of British polar research.
