Mount Markham is a mountain range with two peaks of 4350 and 4280 m in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises at the north end of the Markham Plateau in the Queen Elizabeth Range .
The southern group of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) under the leadership of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott discovered him. The mountain is named after Clements Markham , then President of the Royal Geographical Society and the driving force behind the research trip .
