Marko Reikop (* 19th June 1969 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian television moderator . From 1996 Reikop moderated the Estonian preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest 13 times .

Career

Since 1991 Reikop has moderated various radio and television programs on Estonian radio.

In 1996 Reikop worked as a moderator duo with Karmel Eikner at the Estonian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . Anu Välba was his co-host in January 1997 and 1998, with whom he has hosted Ringvaade , a daily talk show, since 2009 . Together with Romi Erlach, Reikop was presenter of the Eurolaul 1999 in Tallinn. In 2000 Reikop was the sole moderator of the preliminary decision. At Eurolaul 2001 , Elektra was at his side. He moderated the Eurolaul 2002 with Karmel Eikner. In 2003 Romi Erlach acted as co-moderator, in 2004 Karmel Eikner again.

In 2005 Reikop presented the Estonian preliminary decision for the tenth time in a row. The singer Ines , who had already appeared three times for Estonia at Eurolaul, was at his side this year as a co-presenter. A year later, at Eurolaul 2006 , he was in front of the camera with Gerli Padar , Tanel Padar's sister . Maarja-Liis Ilus was his moderation partner in 2007 . In 2008 Ines acted again as co-moderator. This was Reikop's last job as a moderator at Eurolaul.

On November 6, 2008, Reikop starred in an episode of South Ameasjad in the role of Tuudur Tamm .
