Marko Schacher
Marko Schacher (born December 10, 1970 in Böblingen ) is a German journalist , curator and author .
Schacher studied German, sociology and art history at the University of Stuttgart and completed his studies with a Magister Artium. This was followed by a master’s degree in media authoring at the Stuttgart Media University .
He is the editor of the culture magazine SuR - Stuttgart und Region and co-founder of the Tresor exhibition space in Stuttgart . Schacher curated the supporting program for the 6th International Photo Triennial Esslingen am Neckar and the summer photo exhibition "Focus 0711" at the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart . From 2000 to 2006 he headed the Sindelfingen City Gallery in Maichingen's Old Town Hall .
In 2009 he received the Wolfgang Hartmann Prize for his exhibition concept Natur forte .
