Market hall in Plomion

The market hall in Plomion , a French commune in the Aisne department in the region of Hauts-de-France , was built from 1819 to 1821. The market hall has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1998 .

The building was erected on the site of a previous building that was destroyed by fire. During the First World War , the open hall was closed with bricks by the Germans and the building was used for delousing and disinfection. The market hall is now used as a ballroom.
