Markus Beer (born November 18, 1988 in Graz ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Gratkorn .

Career

Markus Beer began his career at Tus Rein at the age of six. He went through the youth teams there and was most recently in the men's team in the regional league center in goal (the 2005/06 season he played as a regular goalkeeper) and was active as a youth coach at a young age. At the age of 16, he moved to FC Gratkorn in 2006 . First he was used for the amateurs in the Styrian regional league and made his debut for the first team in the second-rate first division on May 9, 2008 under coach Michael Fuchs . He had regular engagements there in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons, but was unable to oust Matthias Götzinger in the long term. At the end of the 2010/11 season, they were relegated to the Middle Regional League . For the new season, Beer switched to Bundesliga club SV Ried for a year on loan .
