Markus Brinkmann
Markus Brinkmann (born June 30, 1961 in Hildesheim ) has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament and a member of the SPD since the 16th electoral term .
Professional background
After graduating from regular school, he began training at the Deutsche Bundespost in 1978, which he completed in 1981. From 1988 to 1989 he attended the Dortmund Social Academy . From 1989 to 2001 he was district secretary at the German postal union, then the district manager of Ver.di . From 2006 until he moved into the state parliament in 2008, he was the deputy district manager of Ver.di in the Hanover / Leine-Weser district.

Markus Brinkmann has been a member of the SPD since 1983.
Brinkmann has been a member of the city council of Sarstedt since 2011 and its chairman since 2016.
