Markus Fauland

Markus Fauland (born January 13, 1968 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ / BZÖ ). Fauland was a member of the Austrian National Council between 2004 and 2006 and is currently the BZÖ alliance coordinator.

education and profession

Markus Fauland attended the Walserfeld elementary school between 1974 and 1978 and then the Tanzenberg high school. In 1982 he moved to the Natural Science Realgymnasium Salzburg, where he passed his Matura in 1987. In 1987 he did his military service. Between 1988 and 1993 Fauland studied law at the University of Salzburg .

Fauland joined the Austrian Armed Forces in 1993 and was head of human resources for air surveillance and head of public relations for air surveillance.

politics

Markus Fauland was a local councilor in Adnet between 1999 and 2006 and from 1999 deputy district party chairman of the FPÖ Tennengau . From 2003 he was also the honorary state party secretary of the FPÖ Salzburg. Fauland moved into the National Council on July 7, 2004 as a representative of the FPÖ and joined the BZÖ in the course of the split in the FPÖ. On October 29, 2006, he resigned from the National Council. He was the BZÖ spokesman for the public service, sport and national defense.
