Markus Pieper (balloonist)

Markus Pieper (* 1969 in Gummersbach ) is a German balloonist from Wiehl , Oberbergischer Kreis . He has had his PPL-D private pilot's license since 1995, with more than 2000 hours in gas and hot air balloons today. He has been a member of the German national hot air balloon team since 1999.

  • World Championship Gas 2004 as copilot with Wilhelm Eimers 5th place
  • European championship hot air balloon 2007 3rd place
  • German champion hot air balloon 2002; 2004, 2013 2nd place
