Adnet Marble Museum
The Marble Museum Adnet zum Adneter Marmor is located in the parish hall of the municipality of Adnet in the Hallein district in the state of Salzburg .
history
The museum was founded in 1992 by Franz Kretschmer and completely redesigned when it moved to the parish hall in 2010. It includes a showroom with approx. 100 m² and a freely accessible museum garden with some exhibits.
Museum educational activities, museum tours and guided tours along the Marble Path are offered by the "Museum Association Adnet". A guided tour along the signposted marble path to the various quarries takes about two hours. At the Schmiedbruch (Alter-Graurotschnöllbruch) there is the forge museum, where historical stone-working tools and selected marble blocks from the various quarries are on display.

- The museum received the Austrian Museum Seal of Approval in 2014 .
