Marquard von Krummensee , also Marquard von Crummensee (* before 1384; † November 18, 1412 ) was provost of Brandenburg Cathedral , canon and pastor .
Live and act
Marquard from the von Krummensee family had been a cathedral waiter since May 16, 1384 . On July 7, 1385 he was described as a canon without office. From June 7, 1392 he was first pastor in the city of Mittenwalde , before he was appointed Provost of Brandenburg an der Havel on June 16, 1410. After his death he was buried in the central nave of the Brandenburg Cathedral. His grave slab was later placed in the cloister . The panel, broken in the middle, shows Marquard in a scratched drawing in regalia with a book and breeding rod . As a special feature, a dog is shown at his feet. The family crest is on the opposite side .
