Marrit Jasper (born February 28, 1996 in Sneek ) is a Dutch volleyball player . The outside attacker has been part of the national team since 2017. She won several titles in her home country and became the German cup winner in 2018. In the 2020/21 season, she will play for the Italian first division club Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia .

Career

Jasper started her career in her hometown at VC Sneek. With the club she won the Dutch Cup in 2014. A year later, the outside attacker reached the cup final and became Dutch champion for the first time. In 2016 she managed to defend the league title with Sneek. She then moved to the German Bundesliga club VfB 91 Suhl . With Suhl she was defeated in the pre-play-offs of the Bundesliga. In 2017, the previous junior national player made her debut in the Dutch senior team . With the team she took part in the World Grand Prix and the European Championship . For the 2017/18 season, Jasper moved to Dresdner SC . With the club, she won the DVV Cup and made it to the playoff semi-finals . Then she moved to the league competitor Ladies in Black Aachen . With the club, she reached the semi-finals in the 2018/19 DVV Cup and in the Bundesliga playoffs . She also played in the Challenge Cup . In the 2019/20 season she reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup and the European Challenge Cup with Aachen . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the Ladies in Black were in seventh place in the table. Then Jasper moved to the Italian first division club Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia .
