The Marshal Shaposhnikov (BPK 543) is a Russian destroyer of Udaloy class . The ship entered service in 1987 and is part of the Russian Pacific Fleet . The ship is named after Boris Michailowitsch Shaposhnikov , a Marshal of the Soviet Union .

On the occasion of the G-20 summit in Brisbane (Australia), an association of four ships flies the flag off the coast of Australia in November 2014, namely the flagship of the Pacific Fleet, the Varyag , the Shaposhnikov, as well as the frigate Jaroslaw Mudry and a supply ship. The G20 meeting is overshadowed by the Ukraine crisis .
