Marte Stokstad (* 1978 ) is a Norwegian radio and television presenter who mainly works for Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK).

Life

Stokstad comes from the municipality of Rælingen . Her brother is the sports presenter Morten Stokstad , her stepsister is the sports presenter Anne Rimmen . Marte Stokstad started her career in 1999 at the children's and youth department of the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). From 2001 she worked for the radio station NRK P3 , where she presented her own show Marte from 2003 . During this time she also moderated the music tour VG-lista topp 20 several times . In 2007 she moved to TV 2 , where she hosted a season of the Norwegian edition of Pop Idol , Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne . At TV 2 she also directed the show Norske talenter . In 2009 she returned to NRK P3 as a radio host.

In 2010 and 2012 she moderated the Melodi Grand Prix together with Per Sundnes , the Norwegian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). She then developed her own television program De nominerte . Between 2013 and 2019 she was in charge of the address series at NRK , in which the contributions of experts and fans are commented on and rated in advance of the ESC. In 2020 she should have commented on the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam . After this was canceled, she hosted the program Adresse Europa , in which the best Eurovision moments were searched, as well as together with Ronny Brede Aase Eurovision Song Contest: Norge bestemmer .
