Martijn Maaskant
Martijn Maaskant (born July 27, 1983 ) is a former Dutch cyclist .
Martijn Maaskant started his career in 2003 with the Dutch cycling team Van Vliet-EBH-Gazelle . In his first year he won one stage on the Olympia's Tour . From 2006 he drove for Rabobank Continental , the farm team of ProTeam Rabobank . There he won the third part of the Tour de Normandie and a week later he was second at Hel van het Mergelland . From 2008 to 2013 he was a member of the Garmin team . In 2008 he finished fourth in the Paris – Roubaix race and in 2009 he was fourth in the Tour of Flanders .
He ended his career at the end of the 2014 season.
