Martin Linzer Theater Prize
The Martin Linzer Theater Prize is a prize awarded by the trade journal Theater der Zeit for ensembles in German-speaking countries.
Characteristic
The Martin Linzer Theater Prize has been awarded annually since 2017 by the trade journal Theater der Zeit in memory of the long-time critic and editor-in-chief (1991–1999) of the journal Martin Linzer (1931–2014). Outstanding artistic achievements by an ensemble in German-speaking countries are to be recognized. The choice of the winner is decided by an individual judge who changes every year.
