Martin Bergström (born February 8, 1992 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Bergström started in the Scandinavian Cup for the first time in 2009 and achieved his first top 10 finish in this series in January 2014 at the sprint in Skellefteå with ninth place. The following week he made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup at the sprint in Liberec , where he reached the world cup points with 23rd place . At his next World Cup sprint in Lahti in March 2014, Bergström missed the points with 48th place. In February 2015 he started at the World Cup in Östersund in the sprint and over 15 km freestyle for the first time in a World Cup distance race; Bergström reached 51st place in the sprint and 57th over 15 km. A few days later in Jõulumäe he achieved his second top 10 place in the Scandinavian Cup with ninth place in the sprint in the classic technique. In season 2018/19 he was in the Swedish championships in Sundsvall third in the sprint, reaching in Falun with fifth place in the sprint his first top ten ranking in the World Cup.
