Martin Stua Casanova (born February 15, 1991 in Bruneck ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Italian second division club HC Falcons Brixen since 2018 .

Career

Martin Casanova began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HC Pustertal . In the 2009/10 season he played his first championship games with Pustertal's professional team in Serie A1 .

He then paused four years with ice hockey at club level. From 2014 to 2018 Casanova was on the ice for the Italian club HC Toblach , with whom he took part in the fourth-highest Austrian league stage. For the 2018/19 season Casanova moved to the Italian second division club HC Falcons Brixen .

International

For Italy , Casanova took part in the U18 Junior B World Championship in 2008 and the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2009 .
