Martin Cordes (* 1942 ) is a German Protestant theologian . From 1994 to 2007 he was Professor of Religious Education at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Hanover .

Life

Martin Cordes received his doctorate in 1981 at the University of Göttingen with a dissertation on the subject of Free Christian Action as a Challenge for Church and Theology in the first half of the 19th century . A year later the book was published in the series Studies on the Church History of Lower Saxony . After working as a parish pastor and youth pastor, he was professor for religious education at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Hanover from 1994 to 2007 .
