Martin Elfand

Martin Elfand (* 1937 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film producer.

Life

Elfand initially worked as a talent agent before entering the film production business in the early 1970s. Towards the end of the decade, he rose to become head of production at Warner Brothers . He was personally involved in the production of seven films, plus his involvement in Nina's Alibi (1989) as executive producer.

In 1976 he and Martin Bregman were nominated for an Oscar in the Best Picture category for the film Hundstage .
