Martin Gassner

Martin Gassner (born February 23, 1913 in Werfen ; † October 7, 1985 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ). Gassner was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1945 to 49 .

Gassner attended six classes of elementary school and two years a technical school. He then worked as a farmer. From 1934 to 1938 Gassner was a member of the Pongau District Farmers' Council and between 1936 and 1938 he was the State Secretary of the Reich Association of Catholic-German Youth in Austria for Salzburg. Gassner represented the ÖVP between December 19, 1945 and November 8, 1949 in the National Council.
