Martin Kuchejda

Martin Kuchejda (born September 30, 1957 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German author , director and lyricist .

life and work

After attending elementary school and graduating from high school in Gelsenkirchen, Martin Kuchejda studied theater, film and television sciences as well as modern and medium-old history at the University of Cologne . In 1986 he completed his studies with a Magister Artium. During his studies he worked as a prop master at Circus Roncalli (1980) and completed an internship at the WDR television play (1983).

In 1987 his professional career began as a public dramaturge at the Werkstattbühne in Düsseldorf . In 1988 Kuchejda moved to the Brotfabrik cultural center in Bonn and took over the artistic direction of the theater. From 1989 he headed the Bruno-Goller-Haus cultural center in Gummersbach. In 2011 he was appointed to the board of the Kulturbetrieb der Stadt Gummersbach AöR. Since 2013 he has headed the Gummersbach event center in Hall 32 . His work as an author includes numerous plays, detective novels, non-fiction books and song texts. Martin Kuchejda has also directed many theater and musical productions.
