Martin Lundstedt (* 1967 in Sweden ) was a top manager at Scania for a long time and has been CEO (Chairman of the Board of Management) of Volvo since 2015 .

Life

After obtaining his Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management , Martin Lundstedt was employed as a trainee at Scania in 1992 . He then worked in engine production as a production engineer and later as operations manager in the area of ​​engine production and engine research and development. In 2001 he became director of Scania production in Angers , France. At Scania in Sweden, Martin Lundstedt then took over as head of product marketing in 2005. A year later he was appointed Vice President of Scania and Head of the Truck Division. In 2007 he became deputy to the then chairman of the board Leif Östling and head of the licensing area and factory sales.

At the end of 2012 he succeeded Leif Östling as President and CEO (Chairman of the Board of Management) of Scania AB. In 2015 Lundstedt switched to Volvo and became boss there.
