Martin Mendes is a German pop singer .

Career

Martin Mendes had already worked as a “Magic Sounds” front man for ten years before starting his solo career. He achieved his first hit parade with the title “Hold the dream in you tight”, which immediately after the new presentation in the hr4 hit parade captured first place and held this position for five weeks. In the SWR4- Schlagerparade the song was also number 1. In addition, Mendes landed with “Hold the dream in you tight” in 24th place in the top 100 of the German radio charts.

This was followed on the one hand by further singles such as "Die Sehnsucht nach Dir", "Flieger um 7.30" or his greatest success so far "You lied to me for the last time", on the other hand a series of radio appearances. Among other things, Martin Mendes was a guest on the RPR2 radio show "Greetings from Heino's Rathauscafe" , moderated by Heino and Wolfgang Rositzka .

With intermediate stops via the record company Top-Star and EMI , Martin Mendes is under contract with the Siegen music production company Com-es. Martin Mendes' first album was released in September 2008 under the direction of Com-es. His debut work is called "Martin Mendes". At the same time a new single was released: a fast dance number called "When the Discofox Begins".

Mendes is married and has one grown daughter.
