Martin O'Sullivan

Martin O'Sullivan (* in the 19th or 20th century in Ennistymon , County Clare ; † January 20, 1956 ) was an Irish politician and was a member of the Dáil Éireann , the lower house of the Irish Parliament , from 1943 to 1951 .

O'Sullivan was elected to the 11th Dáil Éireann for the Irish Labor Party in 1943 in the Dublin North-West constituency. In 1944 and 1948 he was re-elected; in the latter he entered the constituency of Dublin North Central . In 1951 he ran unsuccessfully for another legislative period.

In addition to his work as a Member of Parliament ( Teachta Dála ) O'Sullivan was also active in the City Council of Dublin and held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1943 to 1945 .
