Martin Schneider (communications engineer)

Martin Schneider (* 1966 ) is a German electrical engineer and professor at the University of Bremen .

biography

From 1986 to 1992 Martin Schneider studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Hanover and received his doctorate there in 1997 Dr.-Ing. Until 1999 he worked at Bosch Telecom GmbH for Public Networks in Backnang as a development engineer for passive high-frequency components. From 1999 to 2005 he worked at Bosch in Hildesheim in the Wireless Systems research group , which he became head of in 2003. In 2005 he moved to Leonberg to head the RF Electronics for Automotive Radar Systems development group . Since March 2006 he has been a professor at the University of Bremen and heads the RF & Microwave Engineering Laboratory .

Schneider is a member of various professional associations, including a. in the IEEE, the Association of German Engineers , the Association of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology , IMA (Institute for Microwave and Antenna Technology eV), Technology Center for Computer Science and Information Technology (TZI), OFFIS-TZI and MCB (Microsystems Center Bremen).
